EL PASO, TX – A semi truck transporting oil was involved in a rollover accident on Wednesday, Aug 17, that resulted in an oil spill in Northeast El Paso.

Police say that no one appeared hurt and no other vehicles were involved in the crash.

The accident occurred at about 11:00 p.m. Wednesday evening on US 54 North just past McCombs.

Investigators say the tractor trailer flipped over then spilled oil all over the highway. Crews worked through the night to clean up the oil.

The incident remains under investigation at this time.
