MCKINNEY, Texas — According to McKinney police, a tractor trailer overturned on the southbound lanes of  U.S. Highway 75 on Thursday morning, April 25, during a semi truck accident in McKinney Texas.

City crews arrived on the scene to remove “several thousand pounds of cake mix” that the tractor-trailer dumped onto U.S. 75 near U.S. Highway 380 after the big rig overturned, according to Sgt. Chad Barker with the McKinney Police Department.

Barker said the accident happened “right when the sun was coming up.” There were no other vehicles involved and there were no reports of injuries at the time of the accident. The media reported, however, that the driver of the tractor-trailer needed help out of the truck, but didn’t require any medical attention.

The incident remains under investigation at this time.
