PINE BLUFF, AR — A log truck truck driver traveling on the Interstate 530 near Pine was killed when he lost control of his truck and overturned. The victim was identified as 55-year old Michael White of Magnolia, approximately 110 miles southwest of Pine Bluff.

According to Arkansas State Police, the accident occurred at 10:47 a.m. Friday, April 26, where White was driving a 1995 Mack tractor-trailer loaded with logs. As White turned onto the 46-mile exit, he lost control of the truck which left the roadway and overturned – spilling the logs and trapping the driver. White died at the scene.

The media reported that weather was clear and the road was dry.

The investigation was conducted by Officer Chris Kendrick of the Pine Bluff Police Department.
