LAFAYETTE, IN – A semi truck driver from Joshua, Texas rolled his big rig while averting a collision on Interstate 65 in Lafayette, IN. The city of Lafayette is located in Tippecanoe County in the northwestern part of the state about 60 miles northwest of Indianapolis.

The accident happened on Wednesday, August 7, at about 6:45 a.m. on the northbound I-65 about a half mile north of Indiana State Highway 2

The trucker was identified as 42 year-old Jeff Price, from Joshua, Texas, who was slightly injured in the accident. A passenger  traveling in the sleeper at the time was also injured.

The passenger was identified as 43 year-old Goree Lyn Carr, from Dallas, Texas, who suffered a shoulder injury and had to be transported to a nearby hospital for treatment.

The refrigerated truck was contracted from CR England Trucking Company and was hauling food items for General Mills at the time of the accident.

The incident remains under investigation at this time.
