Author: HOUSTON, TX — An 18-wheeler and passenger car collided on August 22 in South Houston, killing one person in the passenger car.

The accident occurred at about 11:00 a.m. Thursday morning, August 22, on Almeda Genoa Rd. near Cullen Blvd, when an 18-wheeler collided with a sedan, crushing the side of the car and sending it off the road. According to the police, one person in the sedan was killed.
The cause of the accident and the identity of the victim have not been released at this time.
The incident remains under investigation at this time.
