HOUSTON, TX – A tractor trailer crash involving multiple vehicles stopped traffic on the I-610 South Loop Freeway in Houston, TX, on October 27, 2013. Houston is located in Harris County, Texas.

The accident occurred around 8:45 a.m. on October 27, 2013 near Wayside Drive at mile marker 34A on the I-610 South Loop. A semi truck driver traveling westbound on the interstate was making a lane change when the big rig struck two other vehicles.

The trucker, along with two other people in a pickup truck were injured and were transported to a local hospital. Their injuries were reported as “non-life-threatening”.

It was raining at the time of the accident. It is not known if the rainy weather played a role in the crash, but Police said that the truck driver would be cited.
