ROSEVILLE, MI – A man was seriously injured Tuesday morning, June 22, in a truck accident in Macomb County, Michigan. The collision between the car and semi trailer truck occurred at the intersection of Common Road and Groesbeck Highway in Roseville, MI, a suburb in the northeast section of the Detroit metropolitan region. The accident area is in the southeast section of the state, about 92 miles east of Lansing, MI and about 77 miles north of Toledo, Ohio.

Firefighters would have to use two sets of Jaws of Life to cut the man out through the roof of his vehicle.

At around 8:30 a.m. Tuesday morning an unidentified truck driver was driving a semi trailer truck east on Common Road in the suburb of Roseville in Macomb County, Michigan. HAMBURG, NY – A family of four was trapped in their car under a semi after a truck accident Friday morning, June 18, in Erie County, New York. The collision with the semi trailer occurred on the New York Thruway in the city of Hamburg, near the Camp Road overpass on the highway. The accident area is part of the Buffalo metro region in the northwest section of the state, about 84 miles southwest of Rochester, NY and about 85 miles north of Warren, Pennsylvania.

Emergency personnel from Hamburg responded to the scene of the accident and were later joined by teams from Scranton and Newton Abbott. The rescue team used tools to extricate the three adults from the car. A tow truck was brought in to help get the car out from under the truck’s trailer.

At about 10:00 a.m. Friday morning 50 year old Shelton Rankins of North Carolina was driving a semi trailer truck west on the New York Thruway in Erie County, NY. Mr. Rankins was driving the truck for Barnes Transportation, based in Wilson, North Carolina.

ADDISON, IL – A truck accident Wednesday morning, June 16, spilled several hundred boxes of hard liquor onto a highway in Du Page County, Illinois. The collision between a semi trailer and a box truck occurred near the town of Addison on Interstate 355. The area is in the Chicago metro region in the northeast section of the state, about 195 miles northeast of Springfield, IL and about 88 miles south of Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

The impact of the collision broke the box truck open and the contents spilled out onto the roadway.

TULSA, OK – A semi truck fell off an interstate ramp onto a lower highway ramp Tuesday afternoon, June 15, in Oklahoma, spilling its load of a hazardous chemical. The truck accident occurred in the downtown section of Tulsa, OK and caused delays on several different roads and highways. The accident area is in the northeast section of the state, about 257 miles north of Dallas, Texas and about 114 miles southwest of Joplin, Missouri.

Oklahoma Highway Patrol and local emergency personnel responded to the scene of the single vehicle truck accident. The driver reportedly was already out of his semi cab and walking around.

At around 4:45 p.m. Tuesday afternoon a truck driver was driving a semi trailer truck west on Interstate 244 in Oklahoma. The driver was carrying 78,000 pounds of ammonium nitrate, a chemical used in fertilizers. MILFORD, CT – Gallons of diesel fuel spilled out on a Connecticut highway Monday morning, June 14, after a chain reaction truck accident. The collision involved three semi trailers trucks and occurred on Interstate 95 in Milford, CT. The accident area is the southwest section of the state near Long Island Sound, about 12 miles southwest of New Haven, CT and about 69 miles northeast of New York, New York.

Connecticut State Police responded and closed down a section of the highway around the truck accident site, rerouting vehicles to Route 1 through the city of Milford.

Shortly before 5:00 a.m. Monday morning three 18 wheelers were traveling north on Interstate 95 in County, CT. The trucks were not traveling together, but were traveling in the same lane, one after the other. WHEAT RIDGE, CO – A suspected drunk driver set off a truck accident Friday morning, June 11, that killed two people in Jefferson County, Colorado. The deadly collision occurred in the Denver metro region on Interstate 70 west of Kipling Street, in the suburb of Wheat Ridge. The accident area is in the central north section of the state, about 120 miles north of Pueblo, CO and about 102 miles south of Cheyenne, Wyoming.

Local emergency personnel responded to the scene of the truck accident. Mr. Baek was fatally injured when he was hit after stepping out of his Volvo and was pronounced dead at the scene.

The events leading up to the fatal truck accident began at around 2:45 a.m. Friday morning when a black Nissan crashed into a parked car on Everett Street in Wheat Ridge and then fled the scene. The Nissan lost one of its license plates and police matched the plate and issued a bulletin. SISSONVILLE, WV – A rollover semi truck accident closed a highway for a couple hours Wednesday in Kanawha County, West Virginia. The single truck accident occurred on Interstate 77 in the town of Sissonville, just north of the Charleston, WV metro region. The area is in the southwest section of the state, about 75 miles south of Marietta, Ohio and about 122 miles northeast of Pikeville, Kentucky.

The truck accident left the tanker lying across all northbound lanes of the interstate.

At around 9:00 a.m. Wednesday morning, June 9, an unidentified truck driver was traveling north on Interstate 77 in Kanawha County, West Virginia. The semi trailer truck belonged to Gordon Milk Transport, which is based in Sugar Creek, Ohio. The 18 wheeler is used to transport liquid eggs for distribution but was empty at the time. ... GREENE COUNTY, OH – A semi trailer truck loaded with gallons of milk rolled over early Monday morning, June 7, 2010, on a highway in Greene County, Ohio. The single vehicle truck accident occurred on US 68, north of Ohio State Route 235, between the towns of Xenia and Yellow Springs. The accident area is just east of the Dayton metro region in the southwest section of the state, about 59 miles west of Columbus, OH and about 60 miles north of Cincinnati, OH.

The truck driver was able to get out of the cab of his rig after the truck accident. Emergency personnel treated him at the scene and transported him to Greene Memorial Hospital in Xenia, OH.

HERCULANEUM, MO – A chain reaction truck accident killed two people and injured three others Wednesday afternoon, June 2, 2010, in Jefferson County, Missouri. The deadly collision occurred on Interstate 55 at McNutt Road near the city of Herculaneum and would involve a total of eight vehicles. The accident area is on the eastern edge of the state, south of the St. Louis metro region near the Mississippi River, about 187 miles north of Blytheville, Arkansas and about 37 miles west of Waterloo, Illinois.

Missouri Highway Patrol and the Herculaneum Fire Department responded to the scene of the multi vehicle truck accident. They found the Focus almost completely destroyed, the Fire Captain saying that “It looked like scrap metal.”

At around 12:00 p.m. Wednesday afternoon 32 year old Jay L. Valentine of Huntsville, Texas was driving a semi trailer truck north in the right lane of Interstate 55 in Jefferson County, Missouri.
