YUCAIPA, Calif. — Eight people were killed and dozens more were injured in a bus crash Sunday, Feb. 3, near Yucaipa, California. The bus was carrying dozens of men, women and children from Tijuana, Mexico, who had spent Sunday at a winter recreation area.

BAKERSFIELD, CA. – On Friday, May 20, a school bus carrying students from an elementary school as well as a junior high school collided with a work truck. Police reported that two children suffered minor injuries.

One person was seriously injured in the early morning multi vehicle crash on the California 101 Freeway near the juncture with Laurel Canyon Boulevard in Studio City, CA. Early Tuesday morning a truck driver, who has not been identified, was driving a semi trailer truck through southwest California. NEWCASTLE, CA – Two semi trailers collided Tuesday morning, January 25, in a truck accident on a highway in Placer County, California, near the Sierra Nevada Mountains. One of the tractor trailers overturned after going off Interstate 80 just outside the town of Newcastle, CA. The truck accident area is in the north-central part of the state just north of the Sacramento metro region. Newcastle is about 414 miles north of Los Angeles, about 114 miles west of Carson City, Nevada and about 295 miles south of Merrill, Oregon.

On Tuesday morning 55 year old Sergo Sandoze of New York was driving a semi trailer through north central California. The semi driver was pulling a 55 foot long trailer at the time of the truck accident, but it is not known if he was carrying any cargo. The logo on the side of the trailer was for Unlimited Carrier, a transportation company based in Lansing, Illinois.

LA CAÑADA FLINTRIDGE, CA – A semi trailer truck crashed early Wednesday morning, September 29, in California after it went off the Foothill Freeway and plunged down an embankment. There were no injuries in the truck accident that occurred just northwest of Pasadena in the suburb of La Cañada Flintridge in the north part of the Greater Los Angeles Metro region.

SANTA BARBARA, CA – Three people were killed Tuesday morning, August 24, when an out of control semi tractor trailer truck crashed into their home in Santa Barbara County, California. The trailer truck accident occurred just off California State Highway 154 at the San Marcos Pass, near the city of Santa Barbara. The accident area is in the southwest section of the state near the Pacific Ocean, about 75 miles north of Los Angeles and about 244 miles south of Fresno.

Shortly before 7:00 a.m. Tuesday morning 51 year old truck driver Joaquin Garcia Morales of Oxnard, CA was driving a semi tractor truck loaded with a cargo of gravel south on California State Highway 154. Mr. Morales owned the semi truck and had leased the two trailers he was hauling. He had just picked up his load at a quarry near Santa Ynez. CASTAIC, CA – Two truck drivers escaped serious injury and are safe after a fiery rear-end truck accident early Monday, July 12, in Los Angeles County, California. The collision between the two big rigs occurred just around dawn about 40 miles north of Los Angeles near the city of Castaic on Interstate 5. The accident area is in the southwest section of the state about 342 miles south of San Francisco, CA and about 160 miles north of San Diego, CA.

As the two 18 wheelers passed through the area near the town of Castaic, CA the Norco Ranch semi in the back rear-ended the leading semi trailer truck near Templin Highway.

Shortly after 6:00 a.m. Monday morning two semi trailer trucks were traveling south on Interstate 5 in Los Angeles County, CA. The first semi had markings and logo for Norco Ranch. Norco Ranch is based in Norco, CA and it is believed that the trailer was loaded with a cargo of eggs. The first semi was reportedly carrying bread. The chain reaction collision occurred just before midnight on the southbound lanes of Highway 99 near the city of Turlock, CA. Late Tuesday night, shortly before midnight, 41 year old Marcus Trask of Selma, CA was driving a 2004 Sterling semi trailer truck south on Highway 99 and had pulled over onto the west shoulder of the highway just south of Lander Avenue. GRAPEVINE, CA – An out of control semi trailer truck caused a truck accident Saturday morning, July 3, on a highway in Kern County, California. The multi vehicle collision occurred on the Interstate 5 near the unincorporated community of Grapevine, CA, about 7 miles north of the town of Lebec, CA. The truck accident area is in the southwest section of the state about 80 miles north of Los Angeles and about 300 miles southwest of Las Vegas, Nevada.

Emergency personnel responded to the truck accident and treated the truck driver and the driver of the Honda, Mr. Ash, for minor injuries.

Shortly after 8:30 a.m. Saturday morning, 47 year old Guillermo Martinez of Hialeah, Florida was driving a 2000 Freightliner semi truck north on Interstate 5 in Kern County, CA. As the truck driver was traveling down the Grapevine Pass his brakes caught on fire and he lost control of the 18 wheeler truck.
