BATON ROUGE, La. — A semi truck driver from Houston, Texas, was cited for careless operation on Aug 5, after he caused a crash that shut down the I-110 in Baton Rouge for nearly 6 hours. The trucker was identified as Daymeon Bradford, 36, of Houston. Bradford, who worked for Fasttrac Transportation of Houston, was taken to a local hospital by EMS. Reports state that Branford sustained minor injuries and is expected to make a full recovery.

SHREVEPORT, La – A woman was killed Monday morning, December 22, when she was hit by a semi tractor trailer on an interstate in Caddo Parish, Louisiana. The tractor trailer overturned after the deadly truck accident which occurred at Red River Bridge on Interstate 220 where the highway wraps around the northern edge of the city of Shreveport, LA. The accident area is in the northwest corner of the state, about 188 miles east of Dallas, Texas, and about 73 miles south of Texarkana, Arkansas.

Early Monday morning an unidentified truck driver was driving a semi trailer west on Interstate 220, moving through northwest Louisiana between Bossier City and Shreveport.
