BETHESDA, MD – The driver of a semi trailer was killed Monday morning, October 18, when his 18 wheeler tractor trailer rolled over on a highway in Montgomery County, Maryland. The deadly truck accident occurred on the Inner Loop of the Capital Beltway between Interstate 270 and Old Georgetown Road near the city of Bethesda, MD. The accident area is just north of the nation’s capital Washington, DC, about 38 miles southwest of Baltimore, MD and about 10 miles north of Arlington, Virginia.

Early Monday morning a semi driver was eastbound on the Inner Loop of the Capital Beltway, also know as Interstate 495, traveling through Montgomery County, Maryland. CHEHALIS, WA – Four semi tractor trailer trucks crashed Thursday morning, March 24, 2010 shutting down a major highway in Washington State. The truck accident happened on Interstate 5 in Lewis County near the city of Chehalis. The accident area is south of Olympia in the west central section of the state, 89 miles south of Seattle, WA and 86 miles north of Portland, Oregon.

Highway crews worked about three hours untangling the wreckage of the four truck accident. None of the trailer trucks overturned and no cargo was lost during the truck collision. There were also no reports of diesel fuel spilling out onto the roadway.

ROCKVILLE, MD: A tanker truck carrying thousands of gallons of fuel rolled over and exploded into flames early Thursday morning. The semi truck accident happened on Montrose Road in Rockville, Maryland, near Interstate 270. The area is in the central section of the state, 44 miles southwest of Baltimore, MD and 21 miles north of Washington, DC.

The tanker truck exploded into flames upon impact. The truck driver was able to pull himself out of the Peterbilt truck and escaped injury.

At around 4:45 a.m. Thursday, the 45 year old truck driver, Michael A. Gongola of Frederick, MD, was operating a Peterbilt truck, carrying close to 9000 gallons of gasoline. He was driving from northbound I-270, onto westbound Montrose when he began to drift to the left side of the road. Gongola attempted to bring the tanker truck back and over corrected the maneuver. He lost control of the gasoline truck and it flipped over onto its side and slid on the roadway.
