SPRINGFIELD, MO – A semi truck accident spilled a load of mayonnaise Saturday evening, February 26, on a highway in Greene County, Missouri. The single vehicle crash occurred in the westbound lanes of Interstate 44 near the juncture with U.S. Highway 65 in the city of Springfield, MO. The truck accident area is in the southwest part of Missouri, about 128 miles east of Parsons, Kansas and about 78 miles north of Harrison, Arkansas.

On Saturday an unidentified man was driving a semi trailer truck through Greene County in southwest Missouri. The semi driver was hauling approximately 40,000 pounds of mayonnaise at the time of the truck accident. The driver’s destination is not known however the boxes were labeled for delivery to Subway, a restaurant chain based in Milford, Connecticut. It is believed the cargo was on its way to several of the company’s restaurants.

HERCULANEUM, MO – A chain reaction truck accident killed two people and injured three others Wednesday afternoon, June 2, 2010, in Jefferson County, Missouri. The deadly collision occurred on Interstate 55 at McNutt Road near the city of Herculaneum and would involve a total of eight vehicles. The accident area is on the eastern edge of the state, south of the St. Louis metro region near the Mississippi River, about 187 miles north of Blytheville, Arkansas and about 37 miles west of Waterloo, Illinois.

Missouri Highway Patrol and the Herculaneum Fire Department responded to the scene of the multi vehicle truck accident. They found the Focus almost completely destroyed, the Fire Captain saying that “It looked like scrap metal.”

At around 12:00 p.m. Wednesday afternoon 32 year old Jay L. Valentine of Huntsville, Texas was driving a semi trailer truck north in the right lane of Interstate 55 in Jefferson County, Missouri. FRANKLIN COUNTY, MO – A semi truck accident Friday morning, May 14, 2010, on a Missouri Highway killed one woman and left five others injured. A passenger minivan rear-ended a semi trailer truck on Interstate 44 by the juncture with Highway 100 near Gray Summit in Franklin County, southwest of the St. Louis, MO metropolitan region. The truck accident area is in the far-east central section of the state, 57 miles west of Belleville, Illinois and 213 miles north of Pocahontas, Arkansas.

Missouri State Police shut down a section of the interstate surrounding the collision site while rescuers helped the crash victims and highway crews removed the wreckage of the minivan.

Shortly after 3:00 p.m. a semi trailer truck was headed east on Interstate 44 in Franklin County, MO. The 18 wheeler rig encountered a highway work construction zone as he approached the juncture with Highway 100, and the truck driver began to brake and slow down his truck. ... Read More

EAST ST. LOUIS, IL – A tractor trailer truck flipped over and burst into flames Monday morning on an Illinois highway. The roll over accident happened on Interstate 64 in East St Louis, IL. The area is in the south-central section of the state on the Missouri border in the St. Louis, MO metro region, 135 miles east of Jefferson City, MO and 295 miles southwest of Chicago, IL.

When the tractor truck rolled the impact caused one of the diesel fuel tanks to explode into flames.

At around 9:15 a.m. 35 year old Ladon Trigg of St. Louis, MO was driving a 2001 Freightliner tractor trailer truck loaded with garbage east on Interstate 64.
