XENIA, OH – Slippery roads may have contributed to a truck accident Monday afternoon, may 17, 2010, in Greene County, Ohio. The collision between a dump truck with an attached trailer and a utility truck occurred on Ohio Highway US 42 east of Bickett Road, in Xenia, OH near Wilberforce University. The truck accident area is east of the Dayton, OH metro region in the southwest section of the state, about 62 miles southwest of Columbus, OH and about 55 miles northeast of Cincinnati, OH.

The truck accident forced the utility truck off the highway and it ended up in a field on the right side of the roadway.The impact of the collision caused the dump truck and its trailer to rollover onto its side and it finally came to a rest blocking the traffic lanes on US 42.

Shortly after 12 noon on Monday an unidentified truck driver was driving a dump truck with an attached trailer carrying a construction bulldozer. CLEVELAND, OH – April 1, 2010, two people riding a motorcycle died after a hit and run truck accident Thursday night in Cuyahoga County, Ohio. The fatal truck accident also involved a mini van and occurred on Interstate 490 near West 7th Street in Cleveland, OH. The accident area is in the far northeast section of the state near Lake Erie, 117 miles east of Toledo, OH and 135 miles northwest of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

Cleveland Police and Emergency Medical Services technicians responded quickly to the scene of the truck accident. Both riders on the motorcycle suffered fatal injuries when they were hit by the truck and were pronounced dead at the scene.

At about 10:45 p.m. Thursday night an unidentified 38 year old man was riding his motorcycle east on Interstate 490 near the city of Cleveland. There was a passenger riding on the back of the motorcycle, a 26 year old woman, also unidentified. ... Read More

LEAVITTSBURG, OH – Three Marine recruits were killed in Warren Township, Ohio when the vehicle they were traveling in was struck from behind forcing them into a busy intersection where they were spun around and hit several times by oncoming traffic. At least 7 vehicles were involved in the fatal crash. The accident occurred around 3:45 p.m. on Wednesday, March 31, 2010.

Wreckage of Pontiac G6 in Leavittsburg, OH in which 3 Marine recruits were killed when a semi truck plowed into them from behind them forcing them into oncoming traffic.

PORT CLINTON, OH – An early morning tanker truck accident last Friday caused a fuel fire in Ottawa County, Ohio. The truck accident happened on Ohio State Route 2, a half mile west of Tettau Road near Port Clinton in Lake Erie Township on March 12. The accident area is in the far north central section of the state near the shores of Lake Erie, 40 miles southeast of Toledo, OH and 77 miles west of Cleveland, OH.

Authorities with the Erie Township Fire Department decided that in order to prevent an environmental hazard to the area they would let the 8,500 gallons of gasoline burn off on its own.

CINCINNATI, OH – A semi trailer truck flipped over on an Ohio highway last Wednesday morning, stalling traffic for hours. The truck accident happened on Interstate 71 in Cincinnati, Ohio. The area is in the far southwest corner of the state and 110 miles southwest of Columbus, Ohio.

The tractor trailer truck ended up on its left side sprawled across all southbound lanes on the I-71.

MADISON COUNTY, OH – A man died after the parked car he was in was hit by a tractor trailer truck on a highway in Madison County, Ohio. The truck accident happened Wednesday afternoon on Interstate 71 southwest of the city of Columbus, OH. The tractor trailer jack-knifed and slammed into a Buick Regal car that was parked on I-71.

At around 2:30 p.m. Feb 10, last Wednesday afternoon, 31 year old Chawn Griffin of Groveport, OH was driving his tractor trailer south on Interstate 71. As he drove in the area of Route 56, Mr. Griffin was attempting to change lanes when he lost control of his 18 wheeler on the windy, snowy highway. GRANVILLE, OH – An Ohio woman died Friday morning after being involved in a truck accident on Route 37/Worthington Road in Licking County, OH. The truck collision happened west of Granville, and about 36 miles east of Columbus, OH near the Raccoon International Golf Course. SPRINGFIELD, OH – A semi tanker truck collided with a special needs school van carrying adults, killing four and injuring six. The accident happened at about 12:40 p.m. Thursday on Interstate 70 eastbound just west of State Route 40 in Clark County, Ohio.
