MIDLAND, TX – A semi truck driver escaped from his 18-wheeler on October 10, just before his tractor trailer crashed with a Union Pacific train at a rail crossing in Midland, TX.
MIDLAND, TX – A trucker was killed on June 3, 2013 when his semi truck was hit by a Union Pacific train after getting stuck on the tracks. Midland is located in Midland County, Texas in the eastern-central part of the state half way between Dallas and El-Paso. The train westbound was on its way from Fort Worth to Monahans, TX at the time.

STANWOOD, WA – Early Thursday morning at about 1:40 am, a stolen Chevy pickup truck crashed into a freight train at the rail crossing at 48th Avenue NW in Stanwood, Washington. The area is in the western part of the state, about 50 miles north of Seattle. The driver of the stolen truck remains missing as police piece together the mystery. The street where the accident occurred is also known as Valde Road.

WICHITA, Kansas — A train and semi truck accident occurred Thursday evening in North Wichita Kansas when a train hit the back of a semi truck stuck on the tracks. The accident happened at 37th Street North and Broadway.
Traffic in Wichita was backed up for some time Thursday evening due to a train accident.
Police say a semi was stopped on the tracks when the crossing arms came down over it.
The truck tried to move but couldn’t and was struck in the back end by the train.
Fortunately no one was hurt in the accident.
