JEFFERSON, WI – A tanker truck accident Friday morning, December 31, forced several residents to evacuate their homes in Jefferson County, Wisconsin. The semi tanker flipped over as it was leaving an ethanol plant in the city of Jefferson, spilling several thousand gallons of fuel as it overturned, and leading police to close part of Highway 26. The truck accident area is west of the Milwaukee metro region in the southeast corner of the state, about 134 miles east of McGregor, Iowa and about 120 miles northwest of Chicago, Illinois.

Early Friday morning a truck driver was at the Valero Renewables ethanol plant on Junction Road in Jefferson, WI. The unidentified driver was getting the tanker filled with about 7,700 gallons of denatured alcohol ethanol. The driver’s destination at the time of the truck accident is not known. UNITY, WI – A milk tanker truck crashed on a highway bridge and then burst into flames Thursday morning, August 12, in Marathon/Clark County, Wisconsin. The single truck accident happened on State Highway 13 in the town of Unity, WI and may have occurred after the driver fell asleep. The truck accident area is in the central section of the state between the cities of Wausau and Eau Claire, about 132 miles west of Green Bay, WI and about 148 miles east of St. Paul, Minnesota.

The Fire and Rescue team from Colby/Abbotsford responded to the truck accident site and battled the flames which engulfed the cab of the tanker.

FOND DU LAC, WI – A semi tractor trailer truck carrying cattle overturned on a Wisconsin highway Thursday morning, April 30, 2010, as the driver attempted to avoid colliding with a vehicle that had pulled in front of the truck. The truck accident occurred on the Highway 151 bypass near the city of Fond du Lac, WI. The accident area is in the east central section of the state, 66 miles northwest of Milwaukee, WI and 74 miles south of Green Bay, WI.

The semi trailer truck was carrying 11 cows and 2 calves at the time of the truck accident. The rollover injured several of the animals and one had to be euthanized.

LAKE DELTON, WI – A tractor trailer truck rolled over and lost its load last Thursday on a Wisconsin Dells Highway. The truck accident happened on Interstate 90-94 and Highway 12 in Lake Delton, Sauk County, Wisconsin. The area is north of the state capital of Madison in the central section of the state, 208 miles southeast of Minneapolis-St Paul, Minnesota and 191 miles northwest of Chicago, Illinois.

As the truck driver was crossing the bridge over Highway 12 the second trailer became detached from the first trailer and truck cab and flipped over, causing the truck to crash.

ASHWAUBENON, WI – A woman died last Thursday afternoon after being involved in a truck accident on a Wisconsin highway. The collision happened on US Highway 41, south of Interstate 172 near Ashwaubenon in the Green Bay metropolitan region. The area is 115 miles north of Milwaukee, WI and 270 miles east of Minneapolis-St. Paul, Minnesota.

The multiple collision stopped both north and south bound traffic on US 41 while crews cleared the wreckage of the delivery truck and the car. At times traffic was confined to one lane in each direction as truck accident investigators went over the area of the collision.
