PORT BARRE, LA – Twenty one school children were injured Friday morning, December 3, when their bus was involved in a truck accident on a highway in St. Landry Parish, Louisiana. A semi trailer collided with the school bus as it was pulling back onto U.S. Highway 190 after picking up children near the town of Port Barre. The truck accident area is in the south-central section of the state, about 54 miles west of Baton Rouge, LA and about 157 miles east of Beaumont, Texas.

On Friday morning 52 year old David Cox of Dallas, TX was driving a semi trailer truck on U.S. 190, traveling through St. Landry Parish. FORT WORTH, TX – A rollover truck accident Friday morning, December 24, shut down part of an interstate for hours in Tarrant County, Texas. The single vehicle crash occurred when one of the tractor trailer’s tires blew out as the semi was on the ramp leading from westbound Interstate 20 to northbound Loop 820 East in the city of Fort Worth, Texas. The truck accident area is in the Dallas-Fort Worth metro region in the east north section of the state, about 224 miles west of Shreveport, Louisiana and about 106 miles south of Ardmore, Oklahoma.

Early Friday morning an unidentified truck driver was headed west on Interstate 20 through Tarrant County, Texas. WASHINGTON DC – On Tuesday, December 21, 2010 the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration FMCSA called for a notice of proposed rulemaking (NPRM) that would ban the use of hand-held mobile devices by commercial drivers of motor vehicles (CMVs).

DALLAS, TX – A section of a highway was closed for hours Friday, December 3, after a bizarre truck accident in Dallas County. Three people were injured in the chain reaction collision which was set off by a pickup truck illegally entering Interstate 30 off a frontage road in the city of Dallas. The truck accident occurred in the north central section of the state, about 190 miles west of Shreveport, Louisiana and about 94 miles south of Durant, Oklahoma.

Late Friday morning 51 year old truck driver John Johnson was on westbound Interstate 30, driving a semi trailer through Dallas County, TX. The logo on the trailer section of the semi was for Landstar, Inc., a global transportation company based out of Jacksonville, Florida. A semi trailer flipped over as it was taking the ramp from Interstate 95 onto Delaware State Route 1 near the city of Christiana, DE. TOPEKA, KS – Two people were injured Monday afternoon, December 6, in a truck accident on a highway in Shawnee County, Kansas. The crash, which involved a semi trailer truck and a passenger car, occurred on Interstate 470 as it passes through the city of Topeka. CLE ELUM, WA – Icy roads on Tuesday morning, November 30, caused a semi trailer to go out of control and crash on a highway in Kittitas County, Washington State.
