JACKSON, MS – Morning commuter traffic was stalled for hours last Thursday after a jackknife truck accident in the state capital of Mississippi. The single truck accident happened on Interstate 55, between Woodrow Wilson Avenue and Lakeland Drive in Jackson, MS. The area is in the central section of the state, 209 miles south of Memphis, Tennessee and 187 miles north of New Orleans, Louisiana.

Emergency personnel from Jackson responded to the scene of the single truck collision. The truck driver was stabilized and then transported to nearby St. Dominic Hospital.

At around 2:00 a.m. Thursday morning, March 11th, a truck driver for G & C Trucking was headed southbound on Interstate 55, hauling a load of boxed frozen chickens. HENRICO COUNTY, VA – A truck driver had to be rescued Wednesday morning after his truck overturned and dangled off a bridge in Henrico County, Virginia. The semi truck accident happened in the Richmond metropolitan region in the eastern part of the county, on Interstate 64 near the exit for Interstate 295. The area is in the east central section of the state, 73 miles northwest of Newport News, VA and 108 miles south of Washington, DC.

Firefighters used tools to cut Mr. Zeb out of the semi truck cab, and then lowered him to the ground. Once on the ground the truck driver was treated and stabilized, and then transported to nearby VCU Medical Center in Richmond

NEWINGTON, VA – Senate Majority Leader, Harry Reid’s wife and daughter were involved in a semi-truck accident in Fairfax County Virginia on northbound Interstate 95 near Exit 166 on Thursday, March 11, about 1:10 p.m. about 14 miles south of Washington D.C. The two were injured when their 2005 Honda Odyssey van was struck in the rear in stop-and-go traffic by a tractor-trailer hauling a load of plastic rolls. The van they were driving struck a third car and the van was crushed on both ends as a result of the impact.

US senator Harry Reid's wife and daughter were seriously injured when their car was rear-ended by a tractor trailer on Washington Highway I-95 in Fairfax County Virginia

STRATFORD, CT – A truck driver died last Saturday after his tractor trailer truck was hit by a car on a Connecticut Highway in Fairfield County, CT. The truck accident happened on Interstate 95 in the town of Stratford, CT. LAKE DELTON, WI – A tractor trailer truck rolled over and lost its load last Thursday on a Wisconsin Dells Highway. The truck accident happened on Interstate 90-94 and Highway 12 in Lake Delton, Sauk County, Wisconsin. The area is north of the state capital of Madison in the central section of the state, 208 miles southeast of Minneapolis-St Paul, Minnesota and 191 miles northwest of Chicago, Illinois.

As the truck driver was crossing the bridge over Highway 12 the second trailer became detached from the first trailer and truck cab and flipped over, causing the truck to crash.

OAKRIDGE, OR – A truck driver died last Thursday from injuries sustained in an early morning hit and run truck accident in Lane County, Oregon. The truck accident happened on Highway 58 about seven miles west of Oakridge, and southeast of Eugene, OR. The area is in the central west section of the state, 140 miles south of Portland, OR and 140 miles northwest of Klamath Falls, OR.

After the impact Mr. Miller apparently lost control of his Sherwin-Williams trailer truck and crashed into a ditch at the side of the highway losing about eight bales of hay from the front trailer.

Shortly before 5:30 a.m. Thursday morning, 37 year old Gregory R. Muller of Sparks, Nevada was driving a Sherwin-Williams trailer truck east on Highway 58. STAMFORD, CT – A man died last Tuesday morning after a truck accident on a Connecticut highway. The collision between the van and tractor trailer happened on Interstate 95 in Stamford, Fairfield County, CT. The accident area is in the far southwest corner of the state near the New York border, 21 miles southwest of Bridgeport, CT and 39 miles northeast of New York City.

After being hit by the tractor truck, the Toyota went onto the right side of the interstate and smashed into the guardrail.

PHOENIX, AZ — A commercial bus carrying 21 passengers crashed claiming the lives of six people early Friday morning when the bus rolled over after hitting a vehicle. The crash occurred at 5:27 a.m. on Interstate 10 about 25 miles south of Phoenix when the bus rear-ended a pickup truck, according to Arizona Department of Public Safety spokesman Bart Graves. Two vehicles, a semi-truck and a passenger car also crashed after the bus veered off the road.

The bus was carrying 21 passengers. All those killed and injured were on the bus.

The bus driver lost control and veered to the left, then to the right and off the road, rolling over at least once while several people were ejected from the bus, another Public Safety spokesman, Robert Bailey, told CNN sister network HLN.  ... Read More

TOWN OF LEBANON, NY – A woman died last Thursday from injuries she suffered in a head on collision with a tractor trailer truck in Madison County, New York. The truck accident happened on State Route 12B in the town of Lebanon, near Hamilton. The accident area is in the north central section of the state, 35 miles southeast of Syracuse and 232 miles northwest of New York City.

As Ms. Sharot was driving through the town of Lebanon she apparently lost control on the slippery roads and crossed into the northbound lane of State Route 12B, directly in the path of a 2010 International tractor trailer truck traveling north.

ASHWAUBENON, WI – A woman died last Thursday afternoon after being involved in a truck accident on a Wisconsin highway. The collision happened on US Highway 41, south of Interstate 172 near Ashwaubenon in the Green Bay metropolitan region. The area is 115 miles north of Milwaukee, WI and 270 miles east of Minneapolis-St. Paul, Minnesota.

The multiple collision stopped both north and south bound traffic on US 41 while crews cleared the wreckage of the delivery truck and the car. At times traffic was confined to one lane in each direction as truck accident investigators went over the area of the collision.

Shortly after 4:15 p.m. Thursday afternoon, 50 year old Wayne Wilson, of Denmark, WI, was driving an International semi tractor trailer truck south on US Highway 41, just past the intersection of Interstate 172.
