HELLERTOWN, PA – A truck driver was killed Thursday morning, Sept 2, in a fiery truck accident in Pennsylvania’s Lehigh Valley. The fatal rear end collision involved two tractor trailer trucks and a car and occurred on Interstate 78 East in Lower Saucon Township just west of the city of Hellertown. The accident area is in the Allentown metro region in the far east-central section of the state, about 75 miles south of Scranton, PA and about 52 miles northwest of Trenton, New Jersey.

Fiery big rig accident in Lehigh Valley PA kills driver.

Early Thursday morning 52 year old Mario Chacon of Palmer Township, PA was driving a semi trailer truck east on Interstate 78 near the border between Lehigh and Northampton counties. He apparently was experiencing some kind of mechanical problem with his rig and the truck driver pulled his 18 wheeler truck off the highway and onto the right shoulder near mile marker 65, approximately two miles west of the city of Hellertown, PA.

HAMSHIRE, Texas — An eastbound semi tractor trailer collided with a passenger truck and overturned releasing the highly toxic and corrosive chemical isobutane. Isobutane is used as a feedstock in the petrochemical industry. It’s flammable and corrosive and can be fatal if inhaled in large amounts.

The accident occurred at about 3:30 am Sunday, August 29, on I-10 East near Hamshire Road, according to Trooper Stephanie Davis with the Texas Department of Public Safety. Hamshire is located in Jefferson County about 20 miles southwest of Beaumont and about 65 miles east of Houston. ... Read More

MOUNTAIN GREEN, UT – A truck driver was charged with Suspicion of Driving Under the Influence after he crashed his semi truck filled with frozen turkeys Saturday morning, August 21, on a highway in Morgan County, Utah. The truck accident occurred in the eastbound lanes of Interstate 84 near the town of Mountain Green, UT. The accident area is in the northeast section of the state about 77 miles north of Provo, UT and about 60 miles southwest of Evanston, Wyoming.

The trailer section broke open and boxes of frozen turkeys tumbled out of the back of the truck.

At around 7:30 a.m. Saturday morning an unidentified man was driving a semi tractor trailer east on Interstate 84 through Weber County, UT.
