MACON, GA – About a hundred residential customers lost power last Sunday night, October 24, when a semi trailer truck got tangled in and pulled down electrical power lines in Bibb County, Georgia. The single vehicle truck accident occurred near the intersection of Britt Drive and Napier Avenue in the city of Macon, GA. The accident area is in the center part of Georgia, about 101 miles northeast of Phenix City, Alabama and about 136 miles southwest of North Augusta, South Carolina.
On Sunday evening, Oct. 24, an unidentified person was driving a semi tractor trailer truck through the city of Macon in Bibb County, GA. The trailer section of the semi had the logo for Hart Transportation, Inc. a trucking company based out of Jacksonville, Florida. BETHESDA, MD – The driver of a semi trailer was killed Monday morning, October 18, when his 18 wheeler tractor trailer rolled over on a highway in Montgomery County, Maryland. The deadly truck accident occurred on the Inner Loop of the Capital Beltway between Interstate 270 and Old Georgetown Road near the city of Bethesda, MD. The accident area is just north of the nation’s capital Washington, DC, about 38 miles southwest of Baltimore, MD and about 10 miles north of Arlington, Virginia.
Early Monday morning a semi driver was eastbound on the Inner Loop of the Capital Beltway, also know as Interstate 495, traveling through Montgomery County, Maryland. SOUTH HOLLAND, IL – A speeding semi trailer truck crashed Thursday afternoon, October 14, on a highway ramp in Cook County, Illinois. The driver was critically injured in the truck accident which occurred on the Bishop Ford Freeway in South Holland, IL. The accident area is just southwest of Chicago in the far northeast corner of the state, about 17 miles west of Gary, Indiana.
Early Thursday afternoon an unidentified truck driver was traveling northbound on the Bishop Ford Freeway in Cook County, IL. The freeway is also known as Interstate 94. The semi was pulling a flatbed trailer and hauling a cargo of 4 foot by 8 foot steel sheet panels. It is not known where the driver was taking the load of steel. MONTGOMERY, AL – Four people were injured Tuesday afternoon, October 12, in a multi vehicle truck accident that occurred at an intersection in Montgomery County, Alabama. The collision between two semi trailer trucks occurred at the juncture of Troy Highway and Taylor Road in the state capitol city of Montgomery, AL. The deadly rear-end collision occurred in the northbound lanes of Interstate 35 near the town of Lytle, TX. On Friday afternoon a semi tractor trailer was traveling through south-central Texas, northbound on Interstate 35. The driver of the semi has not been identified but an Illinois license plate was found at the scene of the truck accident, leading officials to believe that the driver may be based in that state. CHICKALOON, AK – A semi tanker truck overturned Thursday afternoon, October 7, spilling thousands of gallons of diesel fuel on a highway in the Matanuska-Susitna Borough of Alaska. There were no serious injuries in the collision that occurred on the Glenn Highway near the town of Chickaloon and workers were able to keep the fuel from entering two nearby rivers. The truck accident area is about 78 miles northeast of Anchorage in the south central section of the state.
On Thursday afternoon 53 year old Tracie Lyons of Valdez, AK was driving a 2003 Vanderbilt semi tanker truck east on the Glenn Highway, also known as Alaska State Highway 1. He had just picked up approximately 8,800 gallons of diesel fuel and was headed back to Valdez.
