LYTLE, TX – A fiery semi trailer truck accident killed two people Friday afternoon, October 15, on a highway in Atascosa County, Texas. The deadly rear-end collision occurred in the northbound lanes of Interstate 35 near the town of Lytle, TX. The accident area is just southwest of the city of San Antonio in the south-central section of the state, about 103 miles south of Austin, TX.

On Friday afternoon a semi tractor trailer was traveling through south-central Texas, northbound on Interstate 35. The driver of the semi has not been identified but an Illinois license plate was found at the scene of the truck accident, leading officials to believe that the driver may be based in that state. CHICKALOON, AK – A semi tanker truck overturned Thursday afternoon, October 7, spilling thousands of gallons of diesel fuel on a highway in the Matanuska-Susitna Borough of Alaska. There were no serious injuries in the collision that occurred on the Glenn Highway near the town of Chickaloon and workers were able to keep the fuel from entering two nearby rivers. The truck accident area is about 78 miles northeast of Anchorage in the south central section of the state.

On Thursday afternoon 53 year old Tracie Lyons of Valdez, AK was driving a 2003 Vanderbilt semi tanker truck east on the Glenn Highway, also known as Alaska State Highway 1. He had just picked up approximately 8,800 gallons of diesel fuel and was headed back to Valdez. TOPEKA, KS – A truck driver was injured Wednesday morning, October 6, when his semi trailer truck collided with a Union Pacific freight train in Shawnee County, Kansas. The truck accident occurred at an unmarked railroad crossing near Interstate 70 in Topeka, Kansas. The accident area is in the northeast corner of the state, about 66 miles west of Kansas City, Missouri and about 236 miles north of Tulsa, Oklahoma.

On Wednesday morning an unidentified truck driver was driving a semi trailer truck in Shawnee County, Kansas. CLEARWATER, MN – Two people were killed and several others injured in a multi vehicle collision Sunday night, October 3, in Stearns County, Minnesota. The deadly chain reaction truck accident was set off by a semi that rear-ended a passenger car on Interstate 94 just south of St. Cloud near the town of Clearwater, MN. The deadly collision between two semi trucks and a passenger car was set off by a minivan that went out of control on Interstate 90 near the town of Canastota. LA CAÑADA FLINTRIDGE, CA – A semi trailer truck crashed early Wednesday morning, September 29, in California after it went off the Foothill Freeway and plunged down an embankment. There were no injuries in the truck accident that occurred just northwest of Pasadena in the suburb of La Cañada Flintridge in the north part of the Greater Los Angeles Metro region.

CHARLOTTE, NC – A semi tanker truck crashed and overturned Thursday morning, September 22, on a highway in Mecklenburg County, North Carolina. The truck accident, which occurred on the Brookshire Freeway near the city of Charlotte, caused the trailer section to break open and spill part of the semi’s cargo of flour out onto the roadway. The accident area is near the border with South Carolina in the southwest section of the state, about 79 miles south of Winston-Salem, NC and about 76 miles northeast of Spartanburg, SC.

DALLAS, TX – A semi trailer truck crashed and overturned Tuesday morning, September 28, spilling hundreds of gallons of diesel fuel on a highway in Dallas, Texas. The truck accident shut down the LBJ Freeway for several hours and sent the truck driver to the hospital.

The crash damaged at least one of the tractor trailer’s gas tanks spilling fuel onto the highway.

WHEELING, WV – One driver was killed in a fiery truck accident Friday on a highway in Ohio County, West Virgina. The fatal collision between two semi trucks occurred on Interstate 70 in the city of Wheeling, West Virginia. The truck accident area is near the border with Ohio in the far north central section of the state, about 30 miles west of Washington, Pennsylvania and about 50 miles east of Cambridge, Ohio.

Early Friday morning on September 17, 58 year old Ronald Kiser of Fayetteville, WV was driving a semi trailer truck on Interstate 70, traveling through Ohio County, WV. It is not known if Mr. Kiser was carrying a cargo at the time or the trucking company he represented.
