GRAPEVINE, CA – An out of control semi trailer truck caused a truck accident Saturday morning, July 3, on a highway in Kern County, California. The multi vehicle collision occurred on the Interstate 5 near the unincorporated community of Grapevine, CA, about 7 miles north of the town of Lebec, CA. The truck accident area is in the southwest section of the state about 80 miles north of Los Angeles and about 300 miles southwest of Las Vegas, Nevada.

Emergency personnel responded to the truck accident and treated the truck driver and the driver of the Honda, Mr. Ash, for minor injuries.

Shortly after 8:30 a.m. Saturday morning, 47 year old Guillermo Martinez of Hialeah, Florida was driving a 2000 Freightliner semi truck north on Interstate 5 in Kern County, CA. As the truck driver was traveling down the Grapevine Pass his brakes caught on fire and he lost control of the 18 wheeler truck. BURBANK, CA – A truck accident left one person dead and shut down a major California freeway for several hours Friday morning on March 26. The truck accident happened on the Golden Gate Freeway as it passes through Burbank, in the north metro region of Los Angeles. The accident area is in the far west section of the state near the Pacific Ocean, 372 miles southeast of San Francisco and 130 miles northwest of San Diego, CA.

California Highway Patrol and Los Angeles emergency personnel responded to the scene of the deadly truck accident. The driver of the car suffered fatal injuries in the rear end collision and was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the semi truck was not injured.

GONZALES, CA – A tanker truck crashed and rolled over in California Thursday causing a massive fuel spill. The truck accident happened on Highway 101 in Gonzales in Monterey County. The accident area is in the southwest section of the state near the Pacific Ocean, 287 miles northwest of Los Angeles, CA and 123 miles south of San Francisco, CA.
