MIRAMAR, FL – A semi truck overturned on Interstate 75 in Miramar, Florida just north of Miramar Parkway, trapping the driver. The tractor-trailer accident occurred a little before 5 p.m. on Wednesday, July 7, 2010 just as the evening commute began.

GIBSONTON, FL — A Tampa woman traveling on north I-75 near Big Bend Road was critically injured when her Toyota sedan crashed into a tractor trailer semi truck at about 1:00 a.m.

The woman was identified as 27-year-old Amberlee N. Ochlan of Tampa, Florida.

The Florida Highway Patrol said Ochlan hit the truck from behind and spun into the grass median.

Ochlan was taken to Tampa General Hospital in critical condition. The truck driver, David Coello, 45, of Palm Bay, was not injured.

The crash is under investigation.
