WINTER PARK, FL – A semi driver has been charged in a truck accident that occurred Monday afternoon, January 17, on a major highway in Orange County, Florida. The roads were rain slicked when the tractor trailer crashed and flipped over on Interstate 4 just east of the juncture with Fairbanks Avenue, near the city of Winter Park, FL. The truck accident area is in the north central part of Florida in the Orlando metro region.

Early Monday afternoon 56 year old Arthur Venson of Jacksonville, FL was driving a semi trailer truck southwest on Interstate 4. The multi vehicle crash happened when a semi rear-ended two passenger cars on northbound U.S. Highway 27, in the northwest Miami metro region. ST. AUGUSTINE, FL – A truck driver was injured Wednesday night, July 28, when his semi trailer truck jack knifed and crashed on a highway in St. John’s County, Florida. The truck accident occurred after the trailer broke apart and the driver lost control of the 18 wheeler near a Wal-Mart on U.S. Highway 1, just west of the city of St. Augustine, FL. The accident area is in the northeast corner of the state about 104 miles north of Orlando, FL and about 181 miles south of Savannah, Georgia.

HASTINGS, FL – A mother was killed Tuesday morning, June 8, in a truck accident in St. John’s County, Florida. The deadly collision, which also injured two children, occurred at the intersection of State Road 206 and State Road 207 in the city of Hastings, FL. The area is in the northeast section of the state, about 105 miles north of Orlando, FL and about 175 miles southeast of Valdosta, Georgia.

St. John’s County Fire Rescue and emergency personnel responded to the truck accident and worked to extricate the three victims from the crushed car. It would take two heavy rescue teams to get the mother and children out of the Pontiac.

Shortly after 7:30 a.m. 25 year old Lindsey Wood was driving a 2002 red Pontiac Grand Am north on State Road 207, reportedly at a high rate of speed. Ms. Woods had her two children in the car with her, 3 year old Abigal Underwood and 6 year old Caleb Underwood. NEW SMYRNA BEACH, FL – A man was killed and his passenger injured when the SUV they were traveling in was rear-ended by a semi trailer truck in Volusia County, Florida early Wednesday morning, May 26, 2010. The truck accident happened near the city of New Smyrna Beach, FL on Interstate 95 and State Route 9, just south of State Route 44. The accident area is in the north central section of the state, about 56 miles northeast of Orlando and about 15 miles south of Daytona Beach.

Several departments responded to the truck-car collision, including Florida Highway Patrol, Volusia County Sheriffs, and Edgewater Police.

At around 4:00 a.m. Wednesday morning 50 year old Terry L. Eveleth of McFarland, Kansas was driving a semi tractor trailer north on Interstate 95. At one point the truck driver was following a 1999 Chevrolet SUV on the interstate driven by an unidentified 60 year old male from Edgewater, FL and a female passenger.

As the truck driver neared the juncture with State Route 9 he slammed into the back of the SUV. It is not known at this time if the SUV had slowed down or if it malfunctioned in some way. ... Read More
