SAUK VILLAGE, IL – A woman was killed early Wednesday morning, November 3, in a truck accident on a highway in Will County, Illinois. The semi driver was later charged in the deadly collision which occurred at the intersection of Illinois State Route 394 and Steger Road just south of the suburb of Sauk Village, IL. The accident area is in the far south part of the Chicago metro region near the border with Indiana, about 15 miles west of Crown Point, Indiana.

On Wednesday morning 33 year old truck driver Glenn A. Friesen of Goshen, Indiana  was driving a semi trailer truck south on Route 394, traveling through Cook and Will counties. Route 394 is also known as the Calumet Expressway. The semi driver was carrying live stock in the trailer section of his truck. ADDISON, IL – A truck accident Wednesday morning, June 16, spilled several hundred boxes of hard liquor onto a highway in Du Page County, Illinois. The collision between a semi trailer and a box truck occurred near the town of Addison on Interstate 355. The area is in the Chicago metro region in the northeast section of the state, about 195 miles northeast of Springfield, IL and about 88 miles south of Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

The impact of the collision broke the box truck open and the contents spilled out onto the roadway.

Shortly before 7:00 a.m. Wednesday morning a semi trailer truck was traveling south on Interstate 355 in Du Page County, Illinois. A Hyundai box truck was also traveling south on the interstate, carrying a cargo of about 350 cases of alcohol. ... Read More
