INDIANAPOLIS, IN – A bus returning from church camp crashed in Indianapolis, IN killing 3 passengers on July 27, 2013. The bus, with 37 people aboard, was returning to the Colonial Hills Baptist Church in Indianapolis and was only about a mile and a half from its destination after a 365 mile return trip. Among the occupants were adults, teenagers and children.
LAKE STATION, IN – A semi truck loaded with 20 tons of french fries tipped and rolled over while exiting Interstate 80 in Lake Station, IN on Thursday, November 17, 2011.
VANDERBURGH COUNTY, IN – A man died in a truck accident Monday night on a highway in Vanderburgh County in Southern Indiana. The semi trailer and passenger car caught fire after the deadly incident which occurred on U.S. Highway 41 where it meets Rusher Creek Road. The truck accident area is in the far southwest corner of the state near the borders with Illinois and Kentucky, about 25 miles southeast of Mount Carmel, IL and about 52 miles northwest of Owensboro, KY.
On Monday night, November 8, 48 year old truck driver Samuel Rouse of Granite City, Illinois was driving a 2007 Freightliner semi trailer truck through Vanderburgh County, in the southern section of Indiana. LEBANON, IN – Two semi trailer trucks collided and burst into flames Monday afternoon in a truck accident in Boone County, Indiana. The rear-end crash happened on southbound Interstate 65 near the exit for State Route 39, just south of the town of Lebanon. The truck accident area is in the central part of the state, just northwest of Indianapolis, about 65 miles east of Danville, Illinois and about 124 miles west of Greenville, Ohio.
On Monday afternoon, November 1, a semi trailer truck was traveling south on Interstate 65 through Boone County, IN when the rig had an unknown mechanical failure. The 18 wheeler was hauling a load of car parts at the time, but it is not known what company owns the tractor trailer. The unidentified truck driver pulled the semi trailer off the highway and onto the shoulder near the exit for State Route 39. Two men were working to repair the disabled semi trailer, one inside the cab section and the other outside standing on the truck’s step.

MUNCIE, IN – The front section of a semi truck is dangling off a highway bridge in Muncie, Indiana after colliding with a passenger car. The accident happened Wednesday afternoon at State Highway Indiana 67 Bypass and Frontage Road (State Road 3) north of the city. The area is in the east-central section of the state, 63 miles northeast of Indianapolis and 230 miles southeast of Chicago, Illinois.
On Wednesday afternoon a truck driver for Provision Farms of Ossian, IN was driving south on the Indiana 67 Bypass, hauling a load of soybeans. As he reached the intersection of Frontage Road (State Road 3), a passenger car attempted to merge onto the bypass directly in front of the Provision Farms trailer truck. ORLEANS, IN – A semi truck lost part of its load on an Indiana highway, crushing two vehicles and killing three people. The truck accident occurred Monday evening on Indiana Highway 37 near the city of Orleans. The area is in Orange County in the southern section of the state, 90 miles south of Indianapolis, IN and 54 miles northwest of Louisville, KY.
According to Indiana authorities who responded to the truck accident scene, 33 year old Israel Rankin of Paoli, IN was driving his flatbed truck southbound on Highway 37. ROANOKE, IN – A semi truck skidded into a guard rail then overturned and rolled over off the side of the road in Roanoke, Indiana about 18 miles from Fort Wayne in the north eastern part of the state.
The big rig accident happened on Tuesday, January 19, 2010 around 6:30 am in the morning trapping the driver for about 45 minutes. Police are blaming the winter weather and icy road conditions for the accident.
