DALLAS, TX – A semi trailer truck crashed and overturned Tuesday morning, September 28, spilling hundreds of gallons of diesel fuel on a highway in Dallas, Texas. The truck accident shut down the LBJ Freeway for several hours and sent the truck driver to the hospital.

The crash damaged at least one of the tractor trailer’s gas tanks spilling fuel onto the highway.

TEMPLE, TX – A semi trailer truck crashed into a median and burst into flames Monday morning, September 20, on a highway in Bell County, Texas. At least one person was injured in the truck accident that occurred in the city of Temple, TX and would shut down a section of Interstate 35 for several hours. The accident area is in the east central section of the state, about 68 miles north of Austin, TX and about 130 miles south of Dallas-Fort Worth.

DALLAS, TX – A semi trailer truck crashed and burst into flames early Tuesday morning, Aug 3, on a highway in Dallas County, Texas. The driver sustained moderate injuries in the truck accident that was set off when one of the tires on his trailer truck blew out and the 18 wheeler went out of control and slammed through a guardrail on Interstate 635 just above Josey Lane in Dallas, TX. The accident area is in the northeast section of the state about 206 miles southeast of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and about 190 miles west of Shreveport, Louisiana.

At around 4:20 a.m. Tuesday morning an unidentified truck driver was driving a semi trailer in the city of Dallas, TX. He was traveling west on Interstate 635 also known as the Lyndon B. TYLER, TX – A fuel tanker truck overturned and collided with a semi trailer truck Friday, May 23, 2010, in a busy area of Smith County, Texas, spilling a large amount of gas and causing serious traffic delays. The truck accident occurred at the juncture of Troup Highway and Loop 323 in the city of Tyler, TX. The area is in the northeast section of the state, about 98 miles southeast of the Dallas-Fort Worth metro region, 235 miles northeast of Austin and 100 miles west of Shreveport, Louisiana.

Tyler city workers and Haz-mat crews shoveled dirt and foam on the spilled gas in order to contain it and keep it from spreading in the area.

At around 3:00 p.m. Friday afternoon a tanker truck carrying 8500 gallons of gasoline was traveling in Tyler, TX. The tanker truck belonged to Duncan Thompson Transport, based in Atlanta, TX, and had left a nearby refinery headed to Whitehouse, TX with a delivery.
The tanker truck had reached the intersection of Troup Highway and Loop 323 and was attempting to make a turn when the unidentified driver lost control of the rig. TEXARKANA, TX – Three people were injured Friday, MAY 7, 2010, in a multi vehicle truck accident in Bowie County, Texas. The collision occurred in a construction zone on Interstate 30 near the town of Texarkana. The accident area is near the border with Arkansas in the far northeast section to the state, 180 miles east of Dallas, TX and 70 miles north of Shreveport, Louisiana.

The semi truck had damage to the front cab section as it sat at the side of the highway.

CLEBURNE, TX – Three semi trailer trucks were involved in a deadly truck accident Friday morning, April 16, in Johnson County, Texas. The multi vehicle collision happened on US Highway 67 near Walls Drive, south of the Dallas-Fort Worth metro region near the town of Cleburne. The accident area is in the north central section of the state, 168 miles north of Austin, TX and 229 miles south of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

The wreckage of the multi vehicle crash was strewn over a quarter-mile area of the highway, with the transmission and engine section of the truck which set off the truck accident thrown about 150 feet from the site of impact. It took highway crews hours to clear the debris from the roadway.

The collision which involved a semi trailer, a state dump truck, and a passenger pickup truck, occurred in Denton County near Lewisville, TX, where Highway 121 meets Interstate 35. The accident area is in the north east section of the state, 183 miles east of Abilene, TX and 182 miles south of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

At about 1:30 p.m. Thursday afternoon, 59 year old Randy Pierce of Cedar Hill, TX was driving his 18 wheeler truck north on Interstate 35. Mr. Pierce was hauling about 40,000 pounds of frozen chicken for Leap of Faith Transportation, based in Forth Worth, Texas.
