ST. AUGUSTINE, FL – A truck driver was injured Wednesday night, July 28, when his semi trailer truck jack knifed and crashed on a highway in St. John’s County, Florida. The truck accident occurred after the trailer broke apart and the driver lost control of the 18 wheeler near a Wal-Mart on U.S. Highway 1, just west of the city of St. Augustine, FL. The accident area is in the northeast corner of the state about 104 miles north of Orlando, FL and about 181 miles south of Savannah, Georgia.

The semi trailer jack knifed and crashed on the west shoulder of the old highway.

At around 9:30 p.m. Wednesday night 54 year old truck driver Steve Anderson of Jacksonville, FL was driving a semi trailer truck south on Old Moultrie Road, also known as County Highway 5A, in St. John’s County, west of the city of St. Augustine. ALBANY, GA – A semi trailer truck rolled over Sunday evening, Aug 1, on a road near the Southwest Georgia Regional Airport in Dougherty County, GA. The truck driver was not seriously injured in the single vehicle truck accident that occurred when a passenger car crossed into the path of the 18 wheeler on Leary Road in the city of Albany. The accident area is in the southwest corner of the state about 174 miles southeast of Montgomery, Alabama and about 100 miles north of Tallahassee, Florida.

At around 6:00 p.m. Sunday evening truck driver Donta Turnbull was driving a semi tractor trailer west on Leary Road in Dougherty County in an area just south of the SW Georgia Regional Airport in Albany, GA. BRINSON, GA – Two people were hurt in a rear-end truck accident that happened Tuesday afternoon, July 10, on a highway in Decatur County, Georgia. The collision, which involved a semi truck, a front loader, and a pick-up truck, occurred on U.S. Highway 84 near the city of Brinson. The accident area is in the far southwest section of the state, about 54 miles northwest of Tallahassee, Florida and about 150 miles southeast of Montgomery, Alabama.

After rear-ending the pick-up, the driver of the semi trailer truck apparently lost control of his rig.

CASTAIC, CA – Two truck drivers escaped serious injury and are safe after a fiery rear-end truck accident early Monday, July 12, in Los Angeles County, California. The collision between the two big rigs occurred just around dawn about 40 miles north of Los Angeles near the city of Castaic on Interstate 5. The accident area is in the southwest section of the state about 342 miles south of San Francisco, CA and about 160 miles north of San Diego, CA.

As the two 18 wheelers passed through the area near the town of Castaic, CA the Norco Ranch semi in the back rear-ended the leading semi trailer truck near Templin Highway.

Shortly after 6:00 a.m. Monday morning two semi trailer trucks were traveling south on Interstate 5 in Los Angeles County, CA. The first semi had markings and logo for Norco Ranch. ST. TAMMANY PARISH, La. – A truck driver has been charged in a Friday morning, July 9, truck accident that killed four people on a highway in St. Tammany Parish, Louisiana. The deadly collision occurred on Interstate 59, north of Slidell near Pearl River, LA and a few miles from the Mississippi border. The truck accident area is in the far southeast section of the state, about 40 miles northeast of New Orleans, LA and about 65 miles west of Biloxi, MS.

FRUITA, CO – Four people were injured Sunday, July 25, in a multi vehicle truck accident on a highway in Mesa County, Colorado. The collision, which was started by an out of control Toyota sedan, occurred in the eastbound and westbound lanes of Interstate 70 near the city of Fruita, CO. The accident area is northwest of Grand Junction, CO in the far central west section of the state near the Utah border, about 255 miles west of Denver and about 230 miles southeast of Provo, UT.

WRIGHT, KS – Two men were killed Friday morning, July 9, in a fiery truck accident on a highway in Ford County, Kansas. The deadly collision occurred when a semi trailer truck slammed head-on into a pick-up truck on U.S. Highway 50/56 near the town of Wright, KS. The truck accident area is east of Dodge City, KS in the southwest section of the state, about 153 miles west of Wichita, KS and about 283 miles east of Pueblo, Colorado.

Both drivers suffered fatal injuries in the truck accident and pronounced dead at the hospital.

The chain reaction collision occurred just before midnight on the southbound lanes of Highway 99 near the city of Turlock, CA. ALGOMA TOWNSHIP, MI – A Michigan highway was shut down for several hours Wednesday, July 21, when a semi trailer truck crashed and lost its cargo of about two dozen cows. The truck accident occurred on U.S. Highway 131 in Algoma Township, in northeast Kent County. The accident area is about 9 miles north of Grand Rapids in the far west central section of the state about 85 miles northwest of Lansing, MI and about 137 miles north of South Bend, Indiana.

Many of the cows were roaming up and down the highway by the time Michigan State Police and emergency workers responded to the incident site.
