LA CAÑADA FLINTRIDGE, CA – A semi trailer truck crashed early Wednesday morning, September 29, in California after it went off the Foothill Freeway and plunged down an embankment. There were no injuries in the truck accident that occurred just northwest of Pasadena in the suburb of La Cañada Flintridge in the north part of the Greater Los Angeles Metro region.

CHARLOTTE, NC – A semi tanker truck crashed and overturned Thursday morning, September 22, on a highway in Mecklenburg County, North Carolina. The truck accident, which occurred on the Brookshire Freeway near the city of Charlotte, caused the trailer section to break open and spill part of the semi’s cargo of flour out onto the roadway. The accident area is near the border with South Carolina in the southwest section of the state, about 79 miles south of Winston-Salem, NC and about 76 miles northeast of Spartanburg, SC.

DALLAS, TX – A semi trailer truck crashed and overturned Tuesday morning, September 28, spilling hundreds of gallons of diesel fuel on a highway in Dallas, Texas. The truck accident shut down the LBJ Freeway for several hours and sent the truck driver to the hospital.

The crash damaged at least one of the tractor trailer’s gas tanks spilling fuel onto the highway.

WHEELING, WV – One driver was killed in a fiery truck accident Friday on a highway in Ohio County, West Virgina. The fatal collision between two semi trucks occurred on Interstate 70 in the city of Wheeling, West Virginia. The truck accident area is near the border with Ohio in the far north central section of the state, about 30 miles west of Washington, Pennsylvania and about 50 miles east of Cambridge, Ohio.

The fatal collision occurred on Interstate 480 near the Lee Road Exit in a suburb southeast of the city of Cleveland, OH. The loose wheel left the frontage road and crossed over the northbound lanes of the freeway. The large truck wheel hit the front section of the semi tanker truck and became stuck in the front axle.

The truck accident happened in the city of Metairie, LA when the driver was attempting a U-Turn on the south service road for Interstate 10. The accident area is just west of the New Orleans metro region in the far southeast corner of the state, about 74 miles southeast of Baton Rouge, LA and about 148 miles southwest of Mobile, Alabama.

At around noon Friday 54 year old Timothy Weckerlin of Hawk Point, Missouri was driving a semi trailer truck east on Interstate 10 in Jefferson County, LA. The trailer of the 18 wheeler had the logo for Aurora Trailer Leasing & Rental, a national trucking company based in St. Louis, MO. It is not known if the driver was working for the company or had leased the truck. The cargo he was carrying and his destination was also not released to the public.
